POSITION SUMMARY: Under general supervision and within a secure/locked facility, performs typing and other clerical tasks such as: answering phone calls, assisting the public, performing record checks, indexes and files reports, documents, etc. in accordance with established policies and procedures. This position will also work closely with attorneys, clerks of court, and other government officials on the execution of sheriff sales, tax sales and civil process.
QUALIFICATIONS: Any combination of training and work experience that indicates possession of the skills, knowledge and abilities required. An example of acceptable qualifications for this position is: high school diploma plus additional business or other related training. Basic knowledge of modern office equipment and possess a demonstrable skill in typing/keyboarding. Proficient on a computer. Possess the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and the capability to function in a secure correctional setting. Must be able to obtain and maintain L.EA.D.S. certification and be a Notary Public.
Must be 18 years of age, possess a valid driver’s license. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background investigation to include fingerprint analysis. Must successfully pass a truth verification test and pre-employment psychological exam.

$21.86 - $25.03 per hour/DOQ
